Please note these pre-course requirements:

• Wilderness First Responder (WFR): Participants are required to hold a 16-hour basic first aid certificate or equivalent.
• Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (WEMT): Participants are required to hold a Wilderness First Responder certificate or equivalent. Please feel free to discuss your background and prior experience and we will advise on the best course for you.
• Wilderness Physician (WP): Participants are required to be physicians.
• WEMT Experienced Provider: Participants are required to have completed the WEMT.
